What do you look for when selecting items for Found?
We select items that feel fresh but have an enduring quality.
What brands do you love?
Olivia: Karen Walker and Lonely are two incredible New Zealand brands that I love – brilliant prints and swimsuits, Nik would choose Universal Works and Le Laboureur.
How has the area changed since you launched?
Over the past eight years, Bath has gained and lost lots of brilliant independents either through retirement, new projects or sadly external pressures. Around Argyle Street we’re lucky to have BeerCraft, Brora, Cutler and Gross and Bath institution John Moore Sports, plus our lovely neighbours Thai by the Weir. The Holburne Museum and No.15 Great Pulteney also attract visitors to our street and great city.
Where do you shop in Bath?
Alexandra May on Brock Street, because we have a mutual love of jewellery, while the knowledgeable, friendly team at Mr B’s make book-buying even more of a joy. Lucy Simon’s Article in Bartlett Street Quarter is a brilliant store too.
What’s the best thing about running your own business?
Meeting interesting people daily through the store – we have some really wonderful customers who have become lifelong friends. And building relationships with designers and supporting their work.
