Always Sunday House
Lexi Learmond opens the doors to her beautiful Georgian home in Bath for a new creative adventure
We were lucky enough to sample the culinary delights of the newly-opened Always Sunday House; the brainchild of the super-creative Lexi Learmond. Her sublime Georgian house is now home to inspirational supper clubs, creative workshops, yoga classes and has even recently been used as an intimate music venue.
Circus joined other excited guests who had travelled from near and far to sample delicious Provencal dishes and drink sparkling rosé in exquisite surroundings.
The evening started with yummy pizzette canapés in the beautiful tiered gardens overlooking spectacular views of Bath, before moving into the dining room; beautifully curated by Lexi with flowers by Nicole @blomme _florist, vintage china place settings from @lizziebennettlovesvintage and @rareandracyportobello, as well as art from emerging local artist @jamiegrazianoart adorning the walls. There we chatted to guests and ate delicious homemade vegetable soup, ratatouille and rice for main, followed by a sublime lemon sorbet with lavender meringue drops. The perfect meal for a balmy summer’s evening.
Lexi was the ultimate host, making everyone feel welcome and at ease. She loves finding and supporting emerging artists and collaborators - her vision of Always Sunday House as a venue for workshops and live music events, as well as a home for vegetarian supper clubs is inspired.
Future events include pottery workshops, poetic and comedy readings, make your own terrarium, bigs and littles floral headdress making as well as her popular themed supper clubs. You can also book to use the venue for private events. Find out more on the website.
